Easy Fig Pastry Recipe Learn under Expert Guide 

Rarely do I have a chore-free weekend. However, the stars aligned this weekend and I got a more relaxed weekend!  

– 1 sheet of good store-bought puff pastry – 8 oz fresh black mission fig – 4-5 oz goat cheese – ¼ cup walnut – 2 tbsp good fig jam – 1 tbsp butter – ¼ cup fresh mint leave



Preheat oven to 375F. Place four equal rectangular pieces of thawed puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.  


Apply goat cheese to each slice. Add jam, figs, and chopped walnuts. Brush figs and puff pastry edges with melted butter.  


Upturn pastry edges slightly. Bake pastry for 18–20 minutes at 375F until golden and fluffy.  


Add walnuts and chopped mint leaves if preferred. Try our other flaky dishes like phyllo pizza and pork pie.
